Our new version of Wonderland, dystopian and mad, will have you chasing the White Rabbit, stopping by for tea with the Hatter and narrowly avoiding a decapitation by the Queen of Hearts herself!
We are bringing the joy of live entertainment into Nottinghams ‘Victoria Centre’ by transforming an empty retail unit into an immersive theatre where audiences can journey through this Lewis Carrol family favourite.
The new adaption sees a modern take on classic characters, a new soundtrack and a one of a kind immersive experience. The show breaks down those traditional theatre walls transporting audiences into the completely magical, madness of Wonderland.
Take an hour-long journey through dance, puppetry, music and comedy. Featuring professional performers, fantastic costumes, beautiful scenery and a brand new set of musical numbers.

HOW OLD MUST YOU BE?
This production is suitable for Tweedles aged 5+. Younger children are permitted at parents discretion however they must be able to obtain regular theatre etiquette. The show contains loud music, theatrical lighting and some scarier scenes involving the Queen of Hearts.
WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?
This is a live show featuring professional performers. You will be seated throughout the whole performance which, unlike traditional theatre, is performed in-the-round. The show is extremely immersive and audience members will feel completely involved in the story, offering an alternative experience to a traditional 'Christmas pantomime' with this intimate production.
IS THERE MERCH AVAILABLE?
The Caterpillar has been working their poor hands threading and stitching together a beautiful selection of 'WONDERLAND!' merchandise available to purchase before and after your performance. No merchandise can be ordered after your performance day. We will have a card machine on site, and we are a cashless company.
DO I NEED TO RESERVE A TICKET?
Yes, all guests attending the performance must have a ticket - but watch out the Cheshire Cat has been known to pickpocket his way in. Tickets are limited so do order quickly to get your paws on one, as we are likely to sell out.
DO I NEED TO ARRIVE ON TIME?
Yes!! Don't be like the white rabbit! Please arrive at our box office area 20 minutes before, where you will need to display your tickets and then be shown to a waiting area until your performance begins. If you arrive late, your show will have already begun, and you will not be permitted to hold court with the Queen of Hearts. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.

The health and safety of our visitors is our number one priority.
We are closely following the Government’s advice and will implement a large number of COVID-19 prevention measures. Masks are encouraged to be worn during the show, but are not compulsory at this time.
PARKING & TRANSPORT?
Victoria Centre has 2 car parks and 2,499 parking spaces including disabled, parent and child spaces and charging bays for electric cars. Passenger lifts and escalators give easy access from each car park directly to the shopping centre.
You'll find the nearest taxi rank on Milton Street outside the Clocktower dining entrance.
There are frequent rail services to Nottingham station, which is around a 15-20 minute walk to/from the centre.
You'll find a bus station just outside the north end of the centre with an information office staffed by Nottingham City Council and Trent Barton for all timetable and journey planning queries as well as travel ticket sales.
DO YOU DO A RELAXED PERFORMANCE?
Yes! We are offering a relaxed performance on Sunday 19th December at 11.30am.
Open to everyone and designed for people who will benefit from a more relaxed theatre environment including people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory or communication disorders, a learning disability, those with age-related impairments and parents/carers with babies or young children.
We make slight changes to the sound, lowering the volume and reducing any loud effects.
The lights will always be on at a low level in the auditorium.
For anyone who needs to leave the show, we have a small, quiet chill-out area just outside the auditorium. You can return to the show when you are ready. It is fine if you need to leave and return several times.
Most importantly we ask everyone to be tolerant and accepting of the fact that some people may express enjoyment of the show in different ways; the attitude to noise, singing along to the show, and movement is relaxed, we ask anyone in our audience to be supportive of this.
IS THE SHOW WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes! The whole centre is wheelchair and pram friendly with multiple entrances and lifts suitable for wheelchairs. When arriving at the Wonderland Theatre - we will check your tickets and then allow you to enter the performance space first allocating the best position for your wheelchair. We do ask that when you book you mention that you will be arriving with a wheelchair so we can assure there is enough space and we have someone there to accommodate you.
ARE THERE TOILETS?
Guests may use the toilets available in Victoria Centre which will be left open during performance hours. Please go before the show, once it has started you must wait until the whole performance has finished - otherwise you will not be re-admitted.
RETURNS & EXCHANGE
All tickets are non-refundable. However if you have given a 48 hours notice period that you are unable to attend the event, we can honour to exchange your tickets to new dates - subject to availability.
We believe schools should have easy access to live theatre and we would like to generously offer large groups a discounted rate.
Please email us directly to book for schools and groups of 20+. The group booking discount is available Wednesday to Friday.
